General Information
You can submit your abstract here.
The conference extends a call for high-quality abstracts detailing novel research in oncology and cancer genomics. All submissions will undergo a rigorous peer-review process by the Scientific Committee to ensure the highest standards of scientific merit and relevance.
Submission Guidelines: Share Your Groundbreaking Research
Prospective presenters are invited to submit their original research for consideration. Abstracts should adhere to a structured format to ensure clarity and facilitate the review process.
- Abstract Structure: Typically, abstracts should include:
- Title: A concise, informative, and impactful title that summarizes the core finding and convinces reviewers of the topic’s importance and innovation.
- Author Information: The presenting author must also be the submitting author. All co-authors should be listed with their respective affiliations.
- Introduction/Background: This section should briefly outline the research question, identify current knowledge gaps, and state the study’s purpose or a priori hypothesis.
- Methods: A detailed yet concise description of the research design, setting, patient or sample selection, any interventions applied, outcome variables, and the statistical methods used for data analysis.
- Results: Presentation of key findings, including numerical data with appropriate statistical measures such as standard deviations, 95% confidence limits, and levels of statistical significance. If results are not statistically significant, the study’s power to detect a difference should be provided.
- Conclusion: A clear and concise statement of what can be concluded from the study, supported directly by the presented data. Implications, generalizability, and study weaknesses may be addressed if space permits.
- Formatting & Length: Abstracts are typically limited to a maximum of 250 words. Initial submissions should be text-only, without figures, tables, images, or multimedia elements to ensure a blind review process. Specific font and formatting requirements will be detailed in the submission portal.
- Originality: Submissions must represent original work that has not been previously presented at any other major national or international conference in the specified region (e.g., Asia-Pacific for Singapore). This policy ensures that the conference showcases truly novel and cutting-edge research.
- Conflict of Interest: A clear statement disclosing any potential conflicts of interest is a mandatory requirement for all submissions. This upholds transparency and ethical standards in scientific reporting.
The strict adherence to abstract guidelines, including requirements for structured content and the initial exclusion of identifying information or visual elements, serves as a crucial quality control mechanism. By standardizing the review process and enabling blinded evaluation, the conference ensures that scientific merit is the primary criterion for acceptance. This rigorous approach elevates the overall quality and credibility of the presentations, attracting more impactful research to the program.
